Kristin Chenoweth Sings National Anthem to Booing 49er fans at 2012 NFC Championship Game

Broadway superstar Kristin Chenoweth sings the national anthem before the NFC Championship Game Did she Nail it or Fail it? Kristin Chenoweth made her Broadway debut in the 1997 production of Steel Pier and from there went on to play the role of Sally Brown in the 1999 revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. The role won her a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical. She was nominated for another Tony Award, this time for Leading Actress in a Musical, for originating the role of Glinda in the smash Broadway hit Wicked. Her other Broadway credits include The Apple Tree and the 2010 revival of Promises, Promises. Chenoweth starred in NBC's The West Wing as Annabeth Schott and ABC's Pushing Daisies as Olive Snook, the latter of which earned her the 2009 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She is also well-known for her recurring guest role of April Rhodes on Glee. For portraying that character, she received two Emmy Award nominations. Her next big television project will be the upcoming ABC comedy-drama series GCB (which originally stood for Good Christian Bitches but was later changed to Good Christian Belles). In that series, Chenoweth will play the role of Carlene Cockburn, a Dallas woman who hasn't changed much since high school. GCB also stars Leslie Bibb, Jennifer Aspen, Marisol Nichols, Miriam Shor, Mark Deklin, and Annie Potts. The show will premiere on Sunday, March 4 at 10/9c on ABC.
