Daler Mehndi has recorded his highly successful albums in India "Dardi RAb Rab Kardi" that is a traditional Punjabi music and it broke sales records in India. Mehndi eventually switched from classical music to pop and Dardi RAb Rab Kardi is just a better example of that kind of music.
