Mahindra XUV in a New Avatar

The brand new XYLO has been unveiled by Mahindra and Mahindra from their Kandivali plant in Mumbai. Voice Command Technology will be seen in the new XYLO and will allow customers to control more than 30 odd features by using this system. 5 variants will include D2, D4, E4, E8 AND E9 each of which will be packed with style, performance, space, and comfort and will come at a base price of Rs.7.37 lakhs ex showroom Delhi. Six color options will be available for customers who can choose from Diamond White, Fiery Black, Java Brown, Mist Silver, Rocky Beige and Toreador Red. Price are as follows - D2 Rs.7.37 lakhs, D4 Rs.7.77 lakhs, E4 Rs.8.11 lakhs, E4 Rs. 8.34 lakhs, E8 Rs. 9.10 lakhs, E8 Rs.9.47 lakhs, and E9 Rs.10.25 lakhs. The three engine options would include an mHawk engine of 120 Bhp offering 88 kW and 14.02 km per liter. A new transmission system of 5MT-320 will also be offered to customers selecting the XYLO E9 high end variant. mEagle engine of 112 Bhp offering 83.2 kW and 13 km per liter and MDI CRDe engine offering 95 Bhp, 68.7 kW and 14.95 km per liter will be available for commercial segment buyers. The new 2012 model of Mahindra XYLO will be available in 5 new models and 6 stunning colors. It also has a host of special features that need to be highlighted. External features would include a new front grille, highly stylized headlights, new front bumpers with built in air vents, extensive use of chrome and a new foot step with mud flaps which will come in handy during the monsoons. In its interiors one will see extensive use of genuine Italian leather in its upholstery. The E9 cabin is stylish and one is instantly attracted to its new features. Glossy wood finishes, new centre console and 2 toned dashboard is apparent. The latest in technology, XYLO 2012 is fitted with Voice Command Technology where drivers can operate a number of functions by just giving the command. Bluetooth, cruise control, airbags, intelligent reverse assist and 2 Din audio system are among the features included in the new Xylo. E9 will be launched in a phased manner across India and have been available at company authorized dealers from 8th of February 2012.
