Nadaswaram is an oldest native South Indian instrument which is tough to get expertise than many other Instruments. It requires lot of energy and breathing power. Once it is a must accompaniment for all auspicious occasions but with changing times it is not so for many reasons. But still many prefer it as a must for occasion like Marriage. Artists with high caliber also becoming rare as not many are inclined to learn it. In the south Indian state of Andhrapradesh language Telugu the Nadaswaram troupe is called "Sannayi Melam". There is a belief that Nadaswaram play will minimize spread of harmful viral effects at large gatherings. The typical situation of Nadaswaram play at marriage function is that while they are seriously playing all of sudden the function performing priest/purohith lifts his hand to halt the play instant and they need to play again on his signal instant. It may be a most typical situation where a person nothing to do with music controls a music party. The Nadaswaram party in the function is mostly ignored by many except by serious lovers and it will be just like as if the play is coming from a player. Recording the play at marriage functions is also a difficult task due to constant intruding guests into the frame. But anyway all this is part of the function and culture. Here in this recording to minimize intruding people some cutting and pasting here and there has been done without disturbing the audio. Hope this item will be enjoyed by many. I regret missing the Ragalapana as am occupied in recording something else at the time.Any one interested may contact the lead artist Kakaraparthy VeeraBhadraRao on his mobile as given by him +919652022952 .The communication needs to be in Telugu.I will be very happy if they gets even one booking resulting from this upload.
