Mr. Tim Moreland is President Of Moreland Tool & Appliance Company. His company is the third franchisee and the first multi-store operator of a newly franchised format for Sears Holding Corporation, parent company of Sears Roebuck & Co. Mr. Moreland's three Sears Appliance & Hardware stores located in northwest Houston, TX form a union between several of our nation's most iconic, trusted brands and a local hardware store owned by your neighbor. He's quoted as saying "If we can couple local ownership, community involvement and unparalleled customer service with the quality of products, strength and trust of the Sears, Kenmore, Craftsman and DieHard brands, customers will come, over and over again". He is also proud of the innovative design and advanced technologies incorporated in many of the products offered. The Kenmore, Craftsman and DieHard brands have long been known for their leading edge products as well as their reliability. Mr. Moreland retired from the US Army National Guard in 2001 where he served in a variety of active duty positions throughout his career. He has also formed, operated, purchased, merged and sold several other businesses. He has also held insurance, securities and real estate licenses for many years prior to forming Moreland Tool & Appliance, Co. Mr. Moreland's company currently employs approximately 65 regular employees, many of whom have years of experience in the hardware industry. Mr. Moreland plans to grow the company in the future through driving an increase in revenue per square foot coupled with both the acquisition of existing stores and establishment of new markets. Mr. Moreland is married to the former Ms. Carol Eureste, they have three children and have resided in northwest Houston for over 25 years. When he has the occasional moment to relax, he enjoys riding his motorcycle with friends.
